This Sunday, May 20 from 3-6 pm the Anchor Archive is having a party to celebrate our new zine library catalogue and website!

There will be a free BBQ (meat and vegan options), potluck, free zines, a catalogue scavenger hunt with prizes, and a live performance by Positive Body Language.

It’s all ages and all are welcome! If you’ve never been to the Anchor Archive Zine Library before, we have a collection of over 5000 zines from the local area and around the world that can be borrowed.

Zines are self-published publications made outside of mainstream press and media, by all kinds of people about all kinds of things. The Anchor Archive has been providing access to independent media, art, and local zine history and culture since 2005 through operating the library and offering tools, resources, and programming for making zines.

The Anchor Archive is located on the second floor of a building with no elevator, up two wide flights of stairs with railings. There are two non-gendered bathrooms on the second floor, one with a stall and urinal, and the other with a lockable single stall with a sharps container.
