Fanzines is a heavily visual book, showcasing zine artwork. Many of the zines in this book were used without the authors' permission. In fact, not only was much of the artwork in this book published without permission, many things have been misattributed or contain misinformation in some way. For example, a zine making zine made at Anchor Archive here in Halifax, NS is featured on page 210 of the book and cited as being from Halifax, UK. This is just one example of the many factual errors in this reference, so be sure to keep that in mind when reading this book.
